This product is a complete set of AZS refractory bricks designed specifically for 35-square-meter-class all-electric glass melting furnaces. Addressing the characteristics of medium-sized electric melting furnaces—such as large melting areas, complex electrode layouts, and strong glass melt convection—it provides a full range of custom brick types, including lining for the melting tank walls and bottom, protective bricks for the electrode zone, and bricks for the melt outlet and flow channels.
Key Features:
Complete Furnace System Solution: Based on the characteristics of the melting tank, electrode layout, and glass melt flow field in 35-square-meter electric melting furnaces, a comprehensive AZS brick configuration is pre-designed to cover all critical contact areas—including melting tank walls, tank bottom lining, electrode zone protective bricks, melt flow holes, risers, and feed channels—with uniform material and tight brick joints.
Enhanced Electrode Zone Protection: Addressing the operating conditions of medium-sized electric melting furnaces—which feature a large number of electrodes, high current density, and severe peripheral erosion—we provide specialized low-porosity, high-density protective bricks and precision-drilled bricks. These bricks resist high-temperature erosion, adapt to various electrode layout schemes, and ensure the safe, long-term operation of the electrode system.
Resistance to Severe Erosion and Extended Service Life: This grade of electric melting furnace is commonly used for melting highly corrosive glass varieties such as borosilicate glass, high-alumina glass, and high-alkali container glass. The AZS dense protective layer with high zirconia content effectively resists chemical erosion and mechanical scouring from molten glass, significantly extending the furnace’s service life.
Low Contamination and High Purity: The oxidation process strictly controls the leaching of residual carbon and glass phases, eliminating glass defects such as stone formation and bubbles at the material level. It is highly compatible with the cold-top melting process of electric melting furnaces, ensuring the high-quality production of premium glass products.
Precision Machining and Rapid Cold Repair: All bricks undergo CNC precision grinding, ensuring dimensional accuracy and excellent interchangeability. This facilitates high-efficiency bricklaying, effectively shortening cold repair downtime and reducing production losses.
Suitable Furnace Types:
Various all-electric glass melting furnaces with a capacity of approximately 35 square meters. Suitable for the melting and production of specialty glasses such as borosilicate glass, high-alumina glass, high-alkali container glass, optical glass, and solar glass tubes.
