AZS hook-shaped bricks are special-shaped refractory bricks precision-machined from AZS material produced via the oxidation casting process, featuring an integrally cast hook-shaped structure. They are primarily used for suspension, locking, or support connections in the upper structures of glass melting furnaces, serving both load-bearing and erosion-resistant functions.
Key Features:
Integral Hook Structure: The hook section is cast as a single unit with the brick body and precision-ground using CNC technology. With no joints, it provides reliable load-bearing capacity and remains secure without loosening or detaching even after long-term use.
High Thermal Shock Resistance: The low thermal expansion coefficient and uniform crystalline structure of AZS ensure the brick does not crack or fracture during furnace heating, cooling, or temperature fluctuations.
Resistance to Alkaline Vapor Erosion: Exhibits excellent chemical stability against alkaline volatile components within the furnace. It does not powder or flake off even after prolonged exposure, maintaining structural integrity.
Dense and Low-Contamination: The oxidation process minimizes glass phase leaching to an extremely low level, preventing contamination of the furnace atmosphere and ensuring the purity of the molten glass.
Easy Installation and Customization: Hook dimensions and angles can be customized to match the kiln’s suspension system design. Precision machining ensures a perfect fit, enabling quick installation.
Applications:
Suspension of kiln breast walls, connection of front walls, and suspension installations in flame zones requiring special support or locking mechanisms. Suitable for various types of glass melting furnaces, including float glass, bottle and jar glass, and tableware glass furnaces.
